Our 2023 Holiday Giving Campaign
This holiday season, hundreds of your neighbors and their children will wake up in area homeless shelters. While losing ones' home is tough for anyone, it is devastating for a child. They must cope with the loss of friends, familiar surroundings and their most prized possessions. By donating, you can help make the season cheery and bright for those who need it most!
Gemma’s Angels is a very small nonprofit. Unlike other local charities, we don’t have hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars in the bank; we rely on our sustaining donors to keep us afloat to pay our ongoing expenses. Note that any income above and beyond our needs for the holiday events we use to complete our year-round mission. But every donation is appreciated!

About our 2023 Christmas parties…
During the holiday rush, there is typically a flurry of activity among volunteers from Gemma’s Angels. But his year was very different! Several key volunteers became quite ill and the show, as they say, did not go on! Instead, we conducted holiday parties "remotely” at two of our client-shelters; Evergreen House and Lourdeshouse, both in Harrisburg and operated by Catholic Charities.
Lourdeshouse is the only facility that provides specialized, comprehensive maternity care and residential services to women in need in South Central Pennsylvania.
Evergreen House provides a safe, secure, nurturing environment for women recovering from addiction. This residential program helps clients achieve long-term recovery, find stable housing and learn job skills.
At each shelter, we provided the ladies of both Evergreen House and Lourdeshouse gift bags filled with toiletries, a bag of Hershey Kisses, and plush provided by the Hershey Bears Teddy-Bear-Toss.
The bottom line? We need your help to maintain our vital mission! See below!

Note that any income above and beyond our needs for the holiday events we use to complete our year-round mission. But every donation is appreciated!
Give Monthly or Make a One-Time Donation
You can use this form to either make a one-time donation or make a sustaining, monthly donation to Gemma's Angels.
Increase your donation slightly by voluntarily paying our cost of the transaction fee (When asked to pay via Credit/Debit Card, PayPal or by eCheck, etc, you are given an option to pay this fee)
We urge you to consider paying by eCheck which costs us much, much less for Internet processing fees (about one-third the cost!)
Along with this, we offer a new, streamlined eCheck process.
