How can you help?

Donate-a-TomatoFirst and foremost, if you have a garden or have a friend, neighbor or family member who does, get us those surplus tomatoes, zucchini and other veggies! We'll take all you can give us.

If you are local to Hershey, we can pickup your donation or you can drop it off at our location in Hershey. Simply call us at the phone number below and we'll get back to you pronto!

Secondly, you can send us a check in any amount and we'll use it wisely. Donations over the past two years are fallen and we could really use the help.

Third, if you are aware of one of our fundraisers, help us out--buy a ticket, purchase a sponsorship, participate or simply send us a check. Click here to discover the various ways to donate.

We could also use your help with purchasing, pickup and distribution of produce. Contact us to find out about the many opportunities to help.

Volunteer Referral

The agencies we support are always in need of volunteers to perform certain tasks, collect items or food and to help with their fundraisers. If you are involved in a youth, church or other group. call us and we can refer you to one of the agencies we help.

Our Other Activities

For over twenty years, we have conducted a holiday party at the Interfaith Shelter for Homeless Families which is located on the grounds of the old Harrisburg State Hospital. We hold a party, arrange a vist with Santa and help him to purchase very nice gifts for the children. We typically serve 25 to 30 children each year.

We run a Northpole Hotline as a fundraiser just before the holidays. If you want to participate, go to www.NorthPoleHotline.org. We do not charge a fee but ask for a voluntary donation.

SantaIt's a very fun program and if you really want to get into the holiday spirit, volunteer to be a Santa or Mrs. Claus! Go to: www.NorthPoleHotline.org for more info (seasonal).

If you'd like to purchase a gift or donate to the events in some other way, let us know!

We also collect donations and put together 100 small gift bags for adult residents of four shelters in Harrisburg. The bags contain toiletries, jewelry and other personal items. If you are interested in donating items or helping us put the bags together, please contact us.
