Just for Kids!

Volunteers are the lifeblood of any non-profit organization and Gemma's Angels is no exception. Dedicated volunteers are essential to the ongoing success of our programs and we offer many volunteer opportunities for those who want to “give back” to the community. Volunteerism is a great way to meet new people, learn new skills, gain insight, grow personally, and help build a better society.

Check out the below opportunities to volunteer. Either click on the Sign Up link or call us.

Car Wash Fundraiser at Metro Bank, 600 Walton Ave, Hummelstown, PA 17036. Times are from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. There are two shifts. If you can cover both, great! Swimsuits are fine but no bikinis per the bank's rules. We provide everything. In case of rain or threat of rain or any questions, call Mike at 686-7503. If you have an extra, old towel at home, bring it along. Everyone takes turns washing cars and flagging down passersby. These fundraisers make it possible for us to buy produce from farmers for distribution to our list of food banks, homeless shelters and soup kitchens. Every $100 raised buys about 300 lbs of produce! Click here to sign up!
