The Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Food Donation Act
For those businesses who are interested in donating produce, please take note of a Federal law that exempts you of any liability in providing that produce. The Federal Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Food Donation Act protects the donor and the recipient agency against liability, excepting only gross negligence and/or intentional misconduct.
