California Online Privacy Protection Act

CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under 13, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. We do not specifically market to children under 13, with the exception of our kids page with must be parent-supervised.

Understanding the Fair Information Practice Principles and how they should be implemented is critical to comply with the various privacy laws that protect personal information.

Gemma's Angels, Ltd. will not discriminate on any basis, including without limitation: gender, race, national origin, ethnicity, religious beliefs, age, sexual orientation, disability, medical condition, pregnancy, political affiliation, marital status, veteran status and ancestry.

POLITICAL INFLUENCE DECLARATIONS

Gemma's Angels will not use any Donation Funds for any Program that supports political initiatives or agendas, including but not limited to, lobbying, campaigning, advertising, or any other means of advocating for or against political candidates, perspectives or views; except to the extent that any such Program directly relates to and is consistent with the stated charitable purpose of Gemma's Angels.

PERSONAL POLITICAL BELIEFS

Any volunteer, contractor, paid employee or anyone having a professional or volunteer affiliation with Gemma’s Angels shall not be discriminated based upon their personal political beliefs. Likewise, Gemma’s Angels does not discriminate or hold the personal beliefs against any volunteer, contractor, paid employee or anyone having a professional or volunteer affiliation with Gemma’s Angels.

SECULAR USE OF FUNDS DECLARATION

All funds will be designated for service programs open to all eligible persons regardless of religion and Gemma's Angels will not use any Donation Funds for purposes of religious instruction or proselytizing.

USE OF DONATION FUNDS DECLARATIONS

Gemma's Angels specifies that its Donations and any matching funds shall be applied to a specific purpose or project when so requested and Gemma's Angels agrees to use reasonable efforts to honor such instructions.

CORPORATE ETHICS DECLARATIONS

Gemma's Angels will not allow its success or lack of success in attracting funds from any donor to influence such donor’s current or future ability to do business with Gemma's Angels.

Gemma's Angels will not make any payment to any person with the intention of securing a benefit from the use of any donor program that is not available to all charities.

USDA Nondiscrimination Statement 2015

In accordance with Federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, Gemma's Angels Limited is prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity in any program or activity conducted or funded by USDA.
