Hold A Produce Drive in
Your Community
every little bit helps!
There is no right or wrong way to hold a Produce Drive, and no drive is too small. If you invite a few friends over for dinner, and each friend brings a bag of potatoes or oranges, then you can easily get to collecting 100 pounds of produce! Of course, your drive can last for one event or over a designated period of time. Anyone can hold a drive:
- Schools (a great community service project!)
 - Civic or Community Organizations
 - Youth groups
 - Work teams
 - Church groups
 - Little League teams
 - Men's or Women's Softball Teams
 - Businesses and business organizations
 - Scouting Groups

Here's an idea--instead of gifts for an anniversary celebration or birthday, ask friends and family to bring a bag of fruit or vegetables to donate in lieu of a gift!
